Sourcing across the Netherlands and Belgium
Both categories are sourced from the Netherlands and Belgium — spirits from independent in-bond traders, cosmetics and fragrance from general warehousing and distribution in the same region. Independent traders are necessary for a multi-brand basket: a producer's own bond holds only that producer's output, not third-party brands.
Goods held at third-party warehousing
Stock sits at third-party bonded and general warehousing in the region. This is standard practice in the trade — even large licensed operators use third-party facilities for multi-brand stock rather than running their own bond.
Excise documentation filed by the warehousekeeper
Spirits stay under excise suspension while in bond. PTX holds no excise authorisation. The authorised warehousekeeper holds it, and files the movement documentation — the electronic administrative document, or e-AD, submitted through EMCS.
Cosmetics sit outside the excise regime
Prestige cosmetics and fragrance are not excise goods. Duty-suspension mechanics do not apply to them at all. They are handled under general warehousing on the same commercial terms, with collection ex works.
